Besides the famous shoegate, He really had some key blocks in there that opened up some holes in the running game. he didnt light up the stat sheet, and obviously is no Arik in the receiving level, but has a bright future. Doesn't need to be flashy. Look at Foster Moreau in the NFL!

Kole would’ve pulled down the jump ball over Surtain. Kole has the want.

Good points and I saw the same thing you saw. He lined up on the wing and sort pulled into the middle and made some good blocks on Florida LB's.

If Kole grows into his body by the time he is a junior he can be an all time great tight end.
Hes not naturally as gifted as Gilbert but he could reach parity with hard work.

A bright future for him is a shoe-in.

He's a T.E.-the other guy wasn't. Asked after the game if "his body hurt" Taylor replied "no".

Put his head down and worked. Paid dividends.

They need to feature him a little more than they did.
Most of the time he ran those 5 yard outs and sticks

Don't think he isn't athletic, go watch his high school film. He played a lot of wide receiver and looked the part. I was high on him from day one, this kid has great potential.

I guess when you're comparing him to Gilbert he doesn't seem athletic lol. No doubt he's got talent.

His first catch was a great one. He laid out for that.

Well to be fair, there are lots of NFL TE's that don't compare to Gilbert athletically. But I agree, he is talented and got after it, played with grit and heart as did every other guy out there last night.

He's an interesting prospect. At 6'7 and 243, if he can develop he will be a very tough match up.

Has some room to add weight and strength as well

I’m showing my “old fart ness” here but Kole Taylor reminds me of Dave Casper, the Raider’s TE of yesterday.
And he’s catching passes from a left-handed QB.
