According to Rivals LSU reporter Julie Boudwin, Kole Taylor is up to 250 lbs and Koy Moore is up to 200 lbs after being 172 lbs when he signed. Doing work in the weight room.

He looks like a totally different player compared to last season.

Snark toward Koy Moore and the physical rehabilitation of Kole Taylor for not being heavy enough at 6'6" to play TE. Both players have been discussed a lot this week, and there has been some criticism for lack of physicality of both.
Suddenly, they both gained weight.

I might be in minority, but I felt like Koy was struggling with separation last year. So I hope he kept his speed with the 28 lbs he gained.

He def was. My outlook is that he is never going to be a burner so he needed to get stronger to fight inside.

He does have strong hands and lower body so he will catch a bunch of balls.

Regarding Kole, extra weight doesn't automatically mean you're better at blocking. I hope he's learned a bit about leverage and feet. Not being a debbie downer, just playing devil's advocate.

Regarding Moore, it's not surprising. He reminds me stature-wise of Jarvis Landry. Both came in with a frame to add to. No, I'm not saying he'll ever be Jarvis Landry, but he could be and I also wouldn't be surprised by that either.

You are in the majority here; a sure sign that you are wrong…and you are. Koy Moore looked great last year! He got open a lot. He did some very immature racisr stuff, so now you, and several others, are manufacturing stuff about his game. You will be very disappointed as he develops into a great receiver.

If he weighs 200 he’ll be unstoppable, I’m going to call BS on that, 186-188
Maybe but 200 get outta here

Dunno where this narrative comes from, just because you’re not pancaking guys doesn’t mean you can’t block. Our running game improved once the “physically gifted” quitter left and Taylor was on the field so he was in fact an upgrade over someone nobody criticized for not blocking a lick last year.

I don’t care what Kole Taylor’s weight is, I just care if he’s using that weight to be physical.

He’ll be able to violate his opponents. People could lose their lives.

This board has a hard time letting shite go. It’s so fun to just pay attention to what players do on the field and not get into shite that happens to college kids or worrying about what they do.

Some of y’all should try it. I literally don’t even think about anything but on the field and it makes me love them even more
