you know CBK wants to pound the run game and come away with a really decisive win to appease the mob.
It's likely that the focus this game will be to get live action practice for blocking schemes and play execution. I'm sure everyone expects a good result, but i would doubt that scoring points is the primary focus of the game from a coaching perspective.

Almost like this game does have value and should have been scheduled week 1.

This game will tell us a lot about where we are as a championship contender. If we come out and look dominate, it will say a lot about CBK and what he's done to fix our problems from last week.

We're all aware of the "it is what it is" aspect of rent-a-win games like this, but it seems like this one might be especially rough for Nicholls because you know CBK wants to pound the run game and come away with a really decisive win to appease the mob.
The wheels around here will come off if this game is even remotely close.
A few yrs back Nicholls was a 53pt underdog to UGA, one of the largest spreads in UGA history... UGA won by 2. I work with a couple dudes who played for Harvard in that game.

Everyone will get false hope after this game
False hope for what, exactly?
The season isn’t even close to being over

Nichols gets five turnovers against Louisiana Tech and still lose.

Nicholls is a quality I-AA Team and will probably be a Playoff Team again this year. Sadly this should be 50 something or 60 something to less than 10 type of game. They just do not have enough Athletes to even keep this close for more than MAYBE a quarter.

Nicholls has a prominent alumn that has pledged to donate $10,000 per point to Nicholls Athletics for ever point that they score against LSU. Even a touchdown will go a long way to help the funding of the athletic department.

Nichols will score 20 points vs us.

If CBK wanted to appease the mob, he'd have won the last two openers by preparing the team appropriately"
Bullseye. Dead on bullseye.
Bullseye. Dead on bullseye.

Obviously you have never watched Patrick McQuaid play?

So they're gonna donate nothing?

And yet they may be leading at the half and the Tiger faithful will be chewing their fingernails
