Didn’t have to say “LSU” in his presser- you could clearly hear the “LSU” chants over his presser!

He's 71 years old and the opportunities to win it all grow fewer and fewer. This year is now a wash for Bama, and every high school recruit in America saw what Coach Kelly can do with talent.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. He has nothing left to prove. After winning 6 championships in 15 years, anything less is a disappointment. He’s faced with a decision to walk away on top leaving a lot of money on the table or his career dies a slow and painful death.

The SEC is too good and he’s worn out.

I don’t think this is just sarcasm. Saban is in his Seventies and I think he will matched by other SEC teams in the new NIL/transfer portal environment. Georgia has already passed him and teams like LSU, Tenn, and Ole Miss are headed there.

It's pretty much what all coaches do

We were +1 in the turnover battle.
Made Bryce Young uncomfortable all night.
Punt team did a great job. Not a single punt return that I remember.
And offense made the plays they needed to make to win the game.
Brian Kelly calls for the 2 point try and yet again offense executes.
LSU was the better team and a honest, humble football coach admits that and tips the cap.

Why would he? He’s probably ripping O’Brien apart today.

Bama has never been beaten when they lose a game don't you know that? If they lose its because they have beaten themselves, or they had too many injured players, or the refs, or yadda yadda yadda...

You all have to stop seeking Saban's approval. We have a coach that's every bit as good as him in BK.

He did mention LSU and gave them credit.
I read the transcript this morning. Now, maybe he didn’t give them ENOUGH credit.

He gives smartass “compliments” to people he thinks suck, like Les Miles. Always showered Les with compliments before and after he shoved his shite in 48-0. Don’t expect him to gas up BK at all, BK is going to dethrone him and he knows it

That’s because he knows the saban era is coming to an end and he doesn’t want to admit it

I’ve been trying to locate his on field post game interview from 2020. Some snarly remarks about LSU resembling some measure of success in 2019 and how they wanted to reestablish dominance. I so wanted KBK to make the same remarks. I’m being petty but so was Saban in that interview.
