It involved MBB and the whole AD was taken out including the AD.

I could give a frick about women’s bball. But if Kim Mulkey comes here, consider me a convert. We could probably even use her on the men’s staff.

Kim Mulkey would not “cover up” any wrong-doing at Baylor or LSU.
This lady led Hammond HS to FOUR consecutive state championships while maintaining a 4.0 gpa!!
She led La Tech to NC and NC finals while maintaining a 4.0 gpa.
She led the USA to the Olympic Gold.
She assisted Leon Barmore and learned from his coaching genius.
Baylor hired her away from Tech, but she was to succeed Barmore.
Look at what Kim Mulkey achieved at Baylor. She is a tireless worker, very intelligent!!!
Back in the day of AIAW she cast her lots with La Tech and Barmore, but she grew up loving LSU. She sent her son to LSU and was a regular in BR, for his career.
Pay her and honor her. She is a fierce leader and coach. In the future, she’d be a great AD, if Woodward would decide to do other things. IMO, she could be a transformative hire and leader!!!

I’m all for bringing in some strong female leadership into the athletic department. We need it bad, judging from our recent parade of incompetency, which keeps making headline after headline.
We need new blood, and good news. Time to change the direction of things. Pay the money for Mulkey. It’s worth it.

And this is exactly why LSU would do it. I was in Bengal Brass Basketball Band when Gunter and Seimone Augustus were here. There was always a solid crowd in the PMAC for those games. Those teams were actually pretty fun to watch, too.

I am a huge LSU fan but a Baylor alum. My understanding is from my friends that follow all that is Baylor athletics is that Mulkey is pissed that the new basketball arena is going in off campus on the other side of I-35 and not where the school had promised. I am just passing along what I am hearing from people I know that have legitimate connections to the Baylor athletic program. I am sure there is way more to it than that but we shall see if it's just a pipe dream or not
