Keep in mind this interview was taped during media days. He went into media days knowing that he’d have to answer questions about leaving OM.
It’s a no-win situation for him, if he refuses to answer questions about it then he gets painted as a coward for dodging questions.
Now that camp is here, I doubt he continues to do these interviews unless it’s focused on his 2026 football team.

They have the best QB In the conference and were a playoff team last year. LSU has a much higher ceiling imo but also more unknowns.

Any time you get to go on a national forum and tout the great things about your school, you do it.
He has preached how he has more 5 star recruits in 6 months than in 6 years.
He has preached about more Nike NIL deals than any other program.
He has preached about the fans
The stadium
The expectations
The players
The coaches
Saban saying it’s the best football job in America.
This. This is why you go on these shows. So they can get clipped and made viral.
So when a recruit looks at Instagram or TikTok or whatever, he sees it. And he says, “That’s where I want to be.”
