He received some good advice, and sounds like he listened

Well said...good to stay out of the OM drama. If he went, nothing good would come of it.

Wrong

Eh. He flew in an hour before kickoff, chatted with some folks, did and ESPN interview, then flew back to BR at halftime. Btw, I don’t have a problem with any of that either.

Wasnt this in the same report from Ross Dellinger that said he was attending the Sugar Bowl?

Multiple outlets reported it.

Was he ever going? Or was it that Dellinger, who’s sucking off Ole Miss right now for some reason, is being fed bad info about Kiffin from Ole Miss to make Kiffin look bad?

That info is not coming coming from Ole Miss lol. Moscona said that Landry was trying to get Kiffin to go to the Sugar Bowl with him on Christmas Day. LSU people have known about this for several days.

How do you know the decision was all of a sudden?

He’s staying close to BR so when the clock strikes midnight and the portal open up he’ll be at the Football
ops building getting players

I mean I guess guess it might not have been sudden, but according to reports as of 24 hours ago, people around LSU were expecting him to attend.

I guess ESPN shot down his interview request and he decided there was no point in going.

While this can be spinned (not throwing shade..) as a negative thing I think there is a very positive side in that it shows CLK is willing to adjust his plans based upon (at least) the perceived benefit of how his time is spent based upon his priorities and goals.

spin it how you want ... But this is my take away...

Why was going to the Sugar Bowl a bad move? He would be in a suite and not on the sidelines.
He would have been in the governors suite networking with politicians and business leaders.

A real troll move would have been if he went and stood on the Georgia sideline. LOL

It would be hilarious if inside the Superdome on the screens, they showed Lane at the LSU WB game Just showing him would make most Ole Piss fans jump off of the top of the Dome.

Dellinger should be ashamed for getting used by OM right now.

You know he’s so mad that Jacques beat him with this news break.

Kiffin isn’t dumb. He doesn’t want to be seen as big buddies with Landry. And Jethro is just the opposite. He wants to try and score political points through being seen as buddy-buddy with Kiffin.

Yep. McMahon’s 14-40 SEC record and the fact that he was pitifully given this year has killed about 90% of general interest in the men’s program.

I have no idea how you are still allowed to post here. Talk about disgusting this thread had nothing to do with the men's basketball program.
