Kewan Lacy is overrated

I’ve always thought this. 5.1 yards per carry last year (111th in the nation), only had like 4 standout games. The others he just got fed the rock a ton and ended the season with the most carries in the nation. He was a volume back in Kiffins system, but not particularly impressive. Not the best back in the country and definitely not a Heisman candidate.
This is so clear without Kiffin and Weis. Chambliss I think is still a threat but lacy is not anything crazy special imo

He decent. He's a converted wide receiver I believe. He would look good in our system. The system that made him look good last year lol

But when he has been in the game so far? Unimpressive. And I still think he’s a good back. I don’t think he’s a top 5 back in CFB right now though.

I haven’t even watched this game any. I’m looking at last years stats and then his stats in this game too. I think Ahmad Hardy is better, Cam Cook is likely better, and I think other guys (Dilin Jones?) will emerge this year as being better than Lacy as well.

Can't believe I'm debating someone who isn't even watching the game. At least you're honest about it, but I can't take your opinion seriously when you haven't even watched him and only look at stats. What a joke!
And you can't even name 5 SEC backs but know he's not in the top 5. What are we even doing here?
