Their offensive coordinator is Joe Sloan. If we can score 24 then we'll roll. We just have to protect the ball and not have any bad turnovers.

A Joe Sloan offense versus this defense shouldn't be a problem.

Joe Sloan is not in charge of that offense.

Period.

It’s Stein’s. Sloan is along for the ride.

The response was the fact that people are referencing KY like they are the steel curtain.

Early lines reading LSU -16.5 and thats fricking ridiculous. No way

Just like 10.5 was crazy vs Aggie?

We’re a really good team when things are clicking. Really good. That’s all I’m saying.

Exactly. Vegas knew versus A&M, and they seem to know the same thing versus Kentucky

This LSU team, provided there are no more key injuries, will only get better…. people in the SEC knows that…. and I think they’re more afraid of year 2 under Kiffin, not to mention years 3 and beyond

Took 10 secs to look up. 8th in sec 27th nationally.

Kentucky isn't that good. Mediocre passing at best and good run game. Defense is mid at best. Yall we should have scored NO LESS than 38 on Ole Miss, 45 on TAMU, and 59 on La Tech. We've had stupid problems like turnovers from Leavitt and dropped passes keeping us from being 4-0 and looking like the best team in the country.

People are crowning Florida because they blew out Ole Miss at home AFTER they played their super bowl vs us and lost their 2nd best player to injury. Right place, right time type of shite.

As long as Leavitt doesn't do what he did vs La Tech, we win by multiple TDs. This defense will hold Kentucky to 14 or under without Weeks. LSU should put up no less than 31 vs UK.

LSU hasn't played well at Kentucky since Kevin Faulk ran for about 500 yards in 1997. It's one of those Bermuda Triangles of football.

Yep. Was thinking about this today. That was 1997. We were back there in 2001 and 2002 and I was there both times. Won very late with Rohan TD pass to Michael Clayton in 2001 and we all know how close 2002 was. Next was 2007 and we lost. Think the last trip was 2021 and we lost.

Ah yes. I forgot about 1999. 31-5 loss.

Going back to 1999, we are are 2-3 in Lexington with the 2 wins by combined 7 points.

This one won’t be easy at night in Lexington.

Kentucky could beat us I’m not saying it can’t or won’t happen, but let’s cool it with this talk. They shouldn’t be ranked in my opinion at all. They beat a bad ATM team and that’s their crowning achievement. They are not bad but far from one of the elite teams in the SEC.

Yep. I've been a Tiger fan since 1977 and with rare exception, Lexington has been a nightmare for LSU football.

Even our wins there always seem to be squeaked out at the end.

Kiffin's team did not play well the last time he took a team to Kentucky. I think he uses that experience to LSU's advantage. It was also a night game if I recall.

Yeah. See my post above. 2 wins there since 1999. À very late Rohan to Clayton TD to win by 4 in 2001 and the Blue Grass Miracle in 2002. 0-3 outside of that.
