Timely hitting was the key tonight. We always have people on base. In the games we have lost we have stranded a bunch.
To your point we scored 16 runs on only 8 hits. They had 9 hits.

A scrappy team is like late stage Paul Manieri LSU. Very happy we're no longer a "scrappy bunch" and instead a team of grown men.
You know what happens when a "scrappy ballclub" plays a team of grown men? They get their arse kicked and run ruled in SEC play.

I hear you. Kentucky basically conceded this game at the start running out that pitcher. I guess they did it because they auto chalked going against Skenes as an L. Kentucky wanted to save their best P for our #2 and #3.

Their “best pitchers” pitched a total of 7 innings last weekend against UGA. UK didn’t win either of those games.
I think the pitching “strategy” is being overblown.
