Just didn’t come together this year. It happens. Lots of things would have to improve significantly to make any kind of run, but I am not optimistic.

What players would you have brought in?

It's hard to even get excited about a double because this team sucks so bad.

Here is the problem with this statement. This year was not a rebuilding year. This was a reloading year. The core of Milam, Brown, Curiel, Stanfield, Evan’s, Williams, etc was a better core of players you had coming back than ‘24. All of those players with the exception of brown and maybe Stanfield have digressed. Every pitcher on roster from this year to last year with the exception of Schmidt has gotten worse. Williams can’t even find a strike and he threw multiple high leverage CWS innings last year. Our team plays dumb baseball. Horrible decisions in the field, awful approaches, and hero ball at the plate. The blame needs to fall on the coaching staff.

Please tell me what other tools he has besides hitting for average?
