I said several pages ago, these two HCs are best friends. They were in each other’s weddings. And they both have played the stall tactics in their HC career. Jay did it the first 2 years he was here. He slowed down after the first championship and when the rules changed about pitch clocks etc. I think he was also told “you want to ride the SEC+ pine?? Make your games go 4 1/2 hours. Keep em at 2 1/2 to 3 and say hello to ESPN2 and ESPNU.
