They're also down to their 4th string LB this week

Two of those three (Bama and USCe) are less than the team's season average for yards per game and yards per carry.

Majority are def players

I would say exactly what I said: that South Carolina had fewer rushing yards in that game than their average for the season. If I had to use a verb to describe it, I would probably say slowed, rather than held. I also don't know if South Carolina has a very good rushing attack or if they have just played very poor rushing defenders.
Just making an observation.

I see your point.
I would still say that Kentucky's defense has been ran through with relative ease. They're near bottom of the SEC for a reason.

Yeah, defense is going to have to stay off the field to have a chance.

With 3 LB and 2 DB out we should be able to run at will on them and then play action pass the crap out of them. Not concerned with our defense.

We did win those games. On the road. In the SEC
Against two atrocious defenses.

I agree with your assessment, and I also think we should have great success running the ball. But they are still an SEC defense, and I've seen teams get up for a game at the most unexpected times. Cautious optimism is my go to these days

This just feels like such a great matchup for us across the board. Silly things can certainly happen on the road though.

It really does. But my post-2019 LSU PTSD starts kicking in for those games

Tigers should be able to get 220--250 on the ground this Saturday. Here we go Tigers, here we go.

This game will not be as close as the experts think. Big blowout win for the Tigers.
