Wasn't the greatest set of funbags I have ever seen on here but the timing was perfect. I still think we were down by two at the time also. MrWhoDat thought nothing to just give up his posting privileges to watch his tigers go on to victory. I think Chicken has to look at this when we go to bat for him in the reinstatement thread.

Exactly. We gave up 11 runs. Fortunately because of the way the game played out, our pen is fully available except for Fontenot.

Yeah honestly I could see anyone but Fontenot pitching again in this regional (though I definitely hope we don't need to)
But again hats off to Fontenot. He's had a disappointing year but that was the kind of outing that I was hoping for out of him at the beginning of the year. Here's to hoping that he gets another opportunity next weekend. If I can be greedy and sentimental and all, I hope Viet gets to come in at some point with a clutch outing. At this point we may need that this weekend.

Where does that 8th inning rank in the great inning list for LSU baseball….gotta be fairly high I’d bet.

Definitely, especially because it's the postseason. Off the top of my head, Georgia Tech and UC Irvine are probably still higher, but this one is up there.

UCI has to be greater than that b/c if LSU loses that game... it's season over and old Alex Box dies with a terrible loss
instead... we get game 3 that turned into nothing more than a coronation for LSU to get to the CWS
