How old are you? I'm gonna give you the benefit and say 22?

Did you ever stop for one moment and think you guys aren't as smart as you think you are? I know you mean well, and want the best for lsu, but just because you see Xbox numbers on offense from practically every single big 12 team...that should send a red flag. LSU needs to get better offensively, and they will. Most of you refuse to acknowledge (or the truth doesn't fit your agenda) that LSU returned zero production on offense this year. Lost 3 ol starters to grad/early, 1 to the police, another was hurt most of the year, lost their pass catching TE before the season, returned no production at wr and lacked top end rbs. In addittion a QB that had never started and on campus a few months, a new OL coach, and a new OC. Yet, they still managed to score more conference regulation points than any other team but Bama in the secw, despite having the most difficult conference schedule.
I want lsu to improve significantly on offense, and I believe they will next year. If you are being truly objective though, there is reason to be positive.

Yeah for sure we gonna worry about Tennessee.
I hear Saban is shaking in his little boots over the prospect of Briles lighting him up every TSIO, or whenever.
Please tell me, how teams like UT ever get better? I guess UT should just accept their current status as an SEC bottom dweller and not make moves to get better. 1st move is hiring a talented offensive coordinator.
If O wasn't a swamp dwelling neanderthal with an inferiority complex, he would be going after the best possible OC money could buy!

it's called "we didn't listen to SFP for a decade and now we admit that we should have"

Nobody is asking for an offense that puts up video game-like numbers. We just want a modern offense that is creative and efficient. What we have now is neither. What makes you think that the offense will improve under Ensminger? I have no confidence that it will, at least not to the degree that we will challenge for the SEC or national title.

You just really can't grasp that our entire offense from players to coaches were all brand new this year. You will see an improvement next year without question. You guys also discount playing 4 top 15 defenses and 8 top 50. It is probably the same reason Jimbo couldn't outscore E this year in conference regulation play.

we need a massive improvement to the top 1/3 of offenses. are we going to make that kind of jump?

Jimbo did outscore E in regulation
Our Defense scores a TD.

I'm talking about the 8 conference games Sammy, not 1 game. I'm quickly figuring you out. Geez dude.

It isn't as big a jump as you think and you may be surprised what a little continuity will do for an OL, and a little experience does for a gritty, smart QB.

Again. They did
They scored 242 points in Conference play
-43 for overtime
-7 for a kickoff return against Arkansas
=192
We scored 237 points in conference play
-41 in overtime
-7 for the fumble scoop and score Vs Texas A&M
=189
So there you go. Close but you’re wrong.

Listen, I know you love Jimbo, I get it man. The simple fact, just as I told you in the other thread, was that LSU scored the second most conference points in the 8 game regulation schedule. Just because you keep repeating a lie doesn't make it true. LSU scored 196 points in 8 regulation conference games. A&m scored 193. Damn Sammy, I give up with you. I don't even think you are trolling, just who you are. Have a good one.
If you are going to throw stats out, at least get them accurate. A&m scored 49 points in OT. They also had more than one non offensive td

We did not score 196 points in regulation in 8 SEC games.
But you’re right I did Give A&M an extra 6 points.

Auburn. 22
OM. 45
FL. 19
Ms. 19
Ga. 36
Ark. 24
A&m. 31
Total. 196
It's really just simple math Sammy. And before you start crying saying the OFFENSE didn't score all of those, you might want to actually check a&Ms non offensive TDS. Believe it or not, all teams score non offensive TDS. In fact, I think there were 3 or 4 secw teams that scored more non offensive TDS than lsu...yet still scored less overall points.
Again, I know you love Jimbo, but it is what it is.

In O’a history as a HC, the offense has been perpetually ranked in triple digits. And is there this year, yet he seems quite content. So we expect another year of our geriatric OC running the Wing T is going to vault us into the ranks of offenses with a pulse.
Next Year U. Brought to you by the Cheeri-O’s.

Didn’t they score the same as one of our TD’s was of the defensive nature??
