If you can’t tell the difference in Burrow leaving after he graduated and the shite Joseph is pulling you either aren’t paying attention or you’re being willfully dense.

Like I said, we can speculate "why" all day. If he doesn't want to be here then let him move on in peace...so what about undergrad guys like Fehoko, Giles, Etling?

'm just shocked by how fervently we'll support someone until they take off the uniform.

Shocked that fans act like fans? You think Johnny Damon was well received when he returned to Fenway as a Yankee? Fans support their team, generally, not players who don’t play for their team anymore.

Me personally, if he’s not happy he’s welcome to leave. If it makes him happy elsewhere, that’s his prerogative. I’d rather the guys on the team want to be part of the team they’re on. But I also won’t be shocked, or care, if the kid transfers to a conference rival and has the fan base turn on him. That’s par for the course for any fan base in any sport.

He'll have to sit out a year if he goes to UF... so he'll be a junior?

If he has to sit he'll take a redshirt year and have 3 more to play, so he will still be a soph, as far as I know. I'm not in favor of this kind of move. An upperclassman who is looking at very little to no playing time I can understand, but a soph who is looking at possibly getting significant playing time, no. To me this is akin to just quitting. If all this is a ruse to cover the fact he has failed drug test, then it is what it is, another Savion Smith. At bama they don't fail drug test.

It was the failed drug test leading to multi game suspension because he was already suspended for the one game for the fiesta bowl. Reports also stated he was very disrespectful to coaches and had become a problem on the team. Simply put, he needed to go.

The NCAA has to grant a waiver for the player to play right away, so he'll be sitting out at least one year.

Bye Kelvin.

I criticize the coach, I admit that. He's a fricking millionaire getting paid to produce.

Players should be off-limits. But some of you think the opposite, players are the ones you bash and the coach shouldn't get any criticism. That makes a lot of sense.

Why is it always all or nothing with you people? No one operates that way.

I think both can and do deserve criticism. I don't know the whole story, but it sounds like he's trying to run from his own mistakes. That's a cowardly move.19-20 years old is old enough to be responsible.

I don't criticize players who lack talent, not thier fault. Lack of heart, maturity, and a bad attitude are fair game.

We don't even have any definite facts. It's all hearsay and people are crushing the guy.

Sure. But it's sounds obvious from the time he's been around that he's got some maturity issues. Draw a few educated conclusions. That's mostly what we do on this board anyway

I wasn't terribly impressed with him when he played. He was a true freshman, so he obviously could have improved by leaps and bounds, but he was a reserve this year. We have other players to fill that role who are potentially better. If he had attitude problems, it's best for LSU that he leaves.

He was playing out of position. He’s a much better safety than corner, but we needed him for depth. He doesn’t have elite speed to run with receivers. His game is more of a box safety that can play some slot coverage. With the way we recruit DB’s, I doubt anyone will even know he’s gone.

This kid has talent but he seems to want it given to him and not work for his playing time.

Agreed. This bashing of players needs to stop. The rantards have no shame

Why weren't they shite talking Burrow? They'll make any excuse about that, but none for a guy who was possibly 3rd on the depth chart here? Dude has straight ballers in front of him at corner and safety, and the younguns we got this year coming behind him are seriously nasty themselves. Dude probably sees the writing on the wall.

If he doesn't want to play for the Tigers then he should go! I don't think he would get much playing this year as we are loaded at DBU!

You could say good luck, ooooooooor just not shite talk him like y'all love to do. The downvotes prove how arse backwards you are.

4/5 star guy we need leaves Louisiana for another school out of state, "frick him, traitor".
4/5 star guy leaves another state to come to LSU, "Hell yeah welcome to LSU, can't believe we got you from [insert state]".

Gets Burrow from Ohio St, throws a fricking party
Loses a DB that's probably 2nd or 3rd string, wants him to have a shite life.
