You've said a couple of times: "...by all accounts he [Brennan] was soundly beaten out in all 15 spring practices and in the spring game by Garrett Nussmeier".

I saw the spring game a couple of times and I don't know that much could be devined from that regarding anything.
As to winning "all 15 spring practices", do you have a source you can cite for this? or are you just a Nuss fanboy? I hope the best quarterback plays, and I hope the coach has enough expertise to choose correctly.

Ya, I feel like Brennan didnt show much in the spring game, but that was more by design than brennan.

Nuss looked good, he just still looked a little careless with the ball. I think its just one of those things with him, he's going to make big plays and he's going to throw interceptions. Its ok.

I think Brennan starts and if he loses, Nuss gets a shot.

I really dont see Daniels in the mix, and after his mothers comments, I dont see why he would have transferred here.

1.Brennan--on a short leash
2.Nuss
3.Daniels--& maybe some pkgs for him
4.howard
After this season brennan is gone and possibly daniels which means it will be howard & nuss

Cholly Mac was on par with Miles with respect to Quarterbacks.
Ir Mac had a three point lead he shut down the offense and rode the defense.

I am Not looking forward to hearing about the “IT Factor” of a QB with a 1:1 TD:INT ratio and a 50.9 Comp% and hasn’t completed more than 3 passes in any game LSU won.

As long as we have a backup Qb there will be fans who know he is better than QB1. Every QB ever besides Burrow in 2019 has been called on by fans to be benched.

What is it with some of you people and the spring game.
That game means ziltch.How many players over the years have
looked good in the game and never played in the fall.
This is LSU ,BK is not going into this season with an
inconsistant QB like GN.MB will start the season because
of one thing all the coaches have said throughout spring
and that is how CONSISTANT MB has been.

Brennan was playing lights out, until opponents realized LSU had no defense and was going to have to constantly pass to keep up. Defenses then could pin their ears back and go after Brennan. I’m not leaning towards any QB in 2022, let the best man win, but you were accurate in pointing out the obvious.
