I disagree. I was scouting the peewee leagues on the website littlerivals.com and I didn’t see any dawgs for the 2042 team for us. Will need to wait another generation unfortunately.

The Oline will have a quick rebuild next year but with a couple years of stacking recruits, I expect a better overall line in '26 than they have this year.
I beg to differ and disagree.

None of the "Stacked Recruits" have played and will be lost in the SEC. (Just like Chester this season)

The 2025 OL minus Campbell and Dellinger (And possibly Jones) is going to implode.

Just sit back, watch it unfold and be disappointed.

Many of us know what's coming...........

That window will open in 2026

I agree with your assessment overall if college football were like it was 10 years ago. However, the wildcard in today’s game is the transfer portal. Say what you will about the transfer portal, but it is a game-changer.

No he won’t.

He said judge him by year 3. It’s year 3. We suck. We’re an injured QB and a few questionable calls away from 2-2

He squandered a Heisman winner last year and with anyone not named Jayden Daniels we would’ve been 6-6. We might finish that way this year.

We now have one of the best defensive coaching staffs (and one of, if not the most expensive) in the country, our defense sucks. This year the excuse is we don’t have the players.

Next year, we rebuild our OL. And who knows if Nuss stays (he should). OL will be the excuse.

The next year, we’ll definitely have a new QB. That will be the excuse. The year after, it’ll be something else.

This is all combined with the fact that BK is incapable of winning a first game, and the team rarely comes to play at the start of the game, and by the way we play Clemson in game 1 the next 2 years. Both will be losses. BK doesn’t get his team ready to play in most games period, but especially game 1.

This is an excellent thread actually. It encourages the patience that 99% of people don’t have.

It took Kirby 6 years to get UGA rolling consistently at a championship level. They weren’t at a champ level or winning big consistently until 2021 even though he was hired in 2016. Anything great takes time to build.

People need to get off the high horse of instant gratification and give Brian Kelly some time to work his magic and build his program.

Turn in your fan card and delete your account if you honestly believe all that BS and view the program that negatively.

It’s amazing the amount of pathetic losers that we have in our fanbase. You should all ban yourselves and delete your accounts if Kelly wins a championship here. The website and fanbase would be better off for it.

Kelly had his shot last year with a world beater at QB and the best offense in the country. He will NEVER have Malik, BTJ and JD again.

See that guy setting records for the Commanders? That’s who we had at QB last year. If he can’t win it all with JD he can’t win it all with Bryce Underwood

He’s a soft coach who has no clue how to communicate with players down south and it shows on the field.

Ok, so you have zero faith that Baker, Bo Davis et al will raise the talent level and have the defense playing well in '26 and '27?

All the early evidence on the field and in recruiting says otherwise, but your negativity seems near orgasmic to you, so I'll leave you to it.

Kirby was a first time head coach. Kelly is not.

Kirby's first six years UGA was consistently in the top 5 in the country and made the national championship in his second year.

8-5
13-2
11-3
12-2
8-2
14-1

If you can't look at what Kirby did and compare to BK and realize we are nowhere close in year 3, that's on you. Kelly was hired to come in and turn things around immediately. He's old. We don't have 10 years to wait for him to consistently compete for championships.

They will need to move to another conference to get auto bid to playoffs. Winning SEC is not likely at all with 16 teams now.

He made ATL his first year. The portal allows for a quicker rebuild.

This team gives me 2018 vibes. If Nuss comes back next year, they will have the potential to be close to the 2019 team.

I have faith that if it can be done, they will do it.

But I also have faith that once the defense is fixed, something else will go wrong.

2026 would be year 5 for Kelly. At the end of that season that will be half of his tenure. 2027 might be “the year”, but after that year he will have less than half of his contract to compete for a natty. Saban won a championship in what, year 3 at Bama? Don’t tell me 3 years isn’t enough to at least be a contender.

It’s always going to be an excuse, every fricking year. He is what he is — a low risk, low reward hire. Woodward could not take a chance with this hire, he had to get a guy who is proven to at least run a program without letting it go off the rails.

I’m just hoping to make the playoffs ONCE when he’s here. But we’re looking at at least one 7-5 or 8-4 season (probably this year), a lot of 9-3 seasons, and at most one 10-2 season. It could be worse, we could be Florida.
