You must think NL doesn't know about football??? Somewhat insulting.

No. You apparently are one of the posters who posts but doesn’t read the very posts you complain about.

I was very clear that there are some excellent football players in North Louisiana. I also looked up the
Top 30 players in Louisiana for last year’s class and 25 were from South Louisiana and 5 were from North Louisiana.

LSU recruits North Louisiana as signing Will Campbell proves. Decoldest Crawford, and Kendrick Law both had offers but chose to go to other schools. So the idea that LSU doesn’t recruit North Louisiana is BS.

Burks, ha! He’s a BAMA guy alright, but his love carries no weight in the decisions of these players.
Who’s he help BAMA get?

The biggest issue with North LA recruiting isn’t that there aren’t kids from up here that get offers, but the presence of LSU isn’t as felt as other schools. There are players that we shouldn’t have lost. Cam Robinson, Kendrick Law, and a few others.

Most of the big time players like Tre White and Morris Claiborne made it to camp to get the process started.

Ensminger did a decent job when up here, but there’s so many schools very spread out.

Is that NIL code for “gonna have to outbid us” message to deep pocket rivals?

Probably because O didn’t know anything existed above Nachitoches.

I hate to defend Orgeron, but what players from North LA that LSU wanted did he miss on? I'd say in the last 5-6 years or so LSU has less success recruiting a school literally on its own campus (U-High) than North Louisiana

Kendrick Law Bama, Kaine Williams Bama now Nebraska, Eric Reid Auburn … (out of Shreveport), Bud Clark TCU all are 4 star guys.

Most are DB’s and when you see how depleted we got having those guys stay home would have been nice.

Kenny Bell from Rayville was highly regarded as the best WR in his recruiting class

I played with him at Rayville. Nice guy, but he’s Tiger Bait as he went to Bama!

Williams played HS ball on the westbank of Nola. Other than Law, who signed this past offseason after O was fired, were the two other guys listed priorities for LSU? O signed Jordan Toles (a higher ranked safety) in Reid's class. Reid has already transferred to Georgia Tech. Clark is from Alexandria. I don't get the sense that is considered "North Louisiana" by most when referring to this post.

In fact, Law is probably the first big time north Louisiana prospect LSU has missed on since Mathis out of Monroe in 2017 which, coincidentally, was also during a year with a coaching change.

There were MANY reasons to criticize O for when he was at LSU. But failing to adequately recruit North Louisiana really wasn't one of them.
