He doesn't stray from his plan and he doesn't deviate or try new things often..especially midseason.

This is who he is

Former LSU safety Chris Carrier is one of Zachary’s coaches. It’s not that crazy of an idea.

Coach Kelly needs to watch this video on Pete Carroll teaching rugby tackling. Just having the players watch it would help them.

Most would probably laugh but I would invite Catholic High and Zachary Highs coaches, two of the most successful coaches in the state to get in the faces of these players on defense before and during practice. Someone obviously needs to show Kelly how to reach our players, how to get it into their heads so they won’t ever forget what’s expected of them and what’s being taught. I feel LSU players on defense are not being pushed hard enough to do what’s expected of them. Oh Kelly knows how to discipline players, he just doesn’t seem to know how to reach them and make them mentally.tough.

Something is seriously wrong with you

How would you do it as a 0 dollar coach?

I would probably just tell the players to line up wherever and go get the ball. Run around like crazy. Offense can't know what we're doing if we don't even know what we're doing and at this point it can't get any worse. Would probably give them cocaine, steroids, and maybe even turn a rabid raccoon or 2 loose in the locker room too

Sometimes we should just keep our thoughts to ourselves.

That's what CEO coaches do. They hire people to coach while they run the program. Unfortunately if you make the wrong hire it can set you back...just look at Saban with Tommy Rees. If Kelly is worth his contract he will make the necessary changes come January, or December if the wheels really fall off. If he pulls a Dennis Allen and doubles down on a shitty hire? Well...there's always baseball.

it’s that most of it is fixable and coachable.

so you expected the problems to be fixed in the 2nd half when our guys were tired? I think the scheme sucks b/c, even when not tired, our guys don't pressure the qb and leave people wide open.

I think people forget that OM ran for 400 yds against Aranda and our 2019 team.

This is your solution? This is what you think Kelly should do? LMAO

I swear, some of you are emotional children and “solutions” like this is why you’re not in any position to Lead or make tough decisions at work.

Don’t just stop by to rattle our cages. Share with us what’s your football intelligence? What can Kelly do right now, not next year, to coach and fix this, what is he not doing?

1. None of us really know what he and the defensive coaches are doing in practice to fix things.

2. I seriously doubt they are doing nothing.

3. You solution is to bring in high school coaches. Did you even stop and think about how dumb that sounds. I have doubts about bringing Jenkins into the fold, but that’s way better than having HS coaches come in to “motivate”.

4. We already have concerns about recruiting. Can you imagine what other schools on the trail would tell recruits if we followed your plan and resorted to bringing in HS coaches to help. LSU would be the laughing stock of CFB.

The point is bring in former LSU defensive players, championship players. What you’re doing now isn’t working.

And there it is. Some LSU fans have this obsession with bringing in former players.

Just because they played here doesn’t mean they can coach.

Doesn’t mean they can’t either. Most are still involved with football in some manner.
