he’s ever going to run a 200 yard sprint on a football field
Could we agree on 109.99999 yds?

Dumbass Mike Farrell said he didn’t have “5 star speed”
When I originally read that analysis I laughed my arse off, what a clown statement by Farrell.

It would help determine his football speed for sure. Nobody is running 200 yard sprints on the field. And nobody said this dude isn’t super fast—he could run the fastest 40 in the history of the world. I have no idea. But running a fast 200 is not proof of it. There is a reason the 40 has been the standard for football testing. Even if you argue it shouldn’t be, it is, and is what “5-star speed” is based on.
Boutte is really fast and a great football player who just accomplished some great in track. And we just had the greatest college football season of all-time. Why y’all are so insecure and quick to go out of your way searching for the smallest slight is beyond me. But y’all do you.

There are a couple guys on the OT who ran faster in high school. 3rd team all Catholic league in football

I have no idea if Boutte has the elite football speed or not
Seems like you and Mike Farrell suffer from the same problem.
Pretty much everybody that has seen him play can attest to his elite football speed and elite football skills.
Youtube video of some of his highlights
24/7 free article - Boutte suited up for the annual All-American Game and led all receivers with seven catches for 73 yards. He also recorded a touchdown catch that was called back on a penalty,
"His explosiveness both off the line of scrimmage and in-air was more than evident. In all, Boutte was the most impressive Team Pressure wideout on Sunday."
"The LSU signee narrowly lost out to Julian Fleming on Monday but gets the nod today," Biggins said. "He has had a tremendous week and
you can make a case he has been the best player, regardless of position,
for Team Pressure. There really isn't anything he lacks as a next level wide out. He has an athletic frame, is very fluid in his movement,
has both short area quickness and long speed and catches the football
very naturally. He's a smooth route runner who has been creating a ton of separation against every corner he has gone up against and he has definitely been a 'stock up' guy for following this week."

There is a big difference between 200m speed and accelerating past a bunch of fools in the first 5-10 yards, which is much more important in elite football.

I have no idea if Boutte has the elite football speed or not but let’s not pretend he’s ever going to run a 200 yard sprint on a football field.
You do realize that in order to run a low 21 200m, a runner has to have good top end speed and acceleration??? If you think that it’s possible to run that fast and not be fast in the first 5, 10, 20, or 40 yards, then you really don’t know much about running.

But is that 5 star speed? The experts told me it wasn’t

Exactly, you can’t put up elite 200m times and not be blazing fast even at 40. It’s all still a sprint

I don't know if people are just dumb or they don't think. Bolt runs a 4.3 in pants and dress shoes and lets up the last 10 yards. I can just hear people at some point saying "Bolt" might be fast, but he doesn't have football speed.

Damn, was only the prelims too.

He ran a 21.3 200m indoors. That’s blazing so you’re right about one thing you have no idea
