Best decision for him. His running style doesn't fit whatever in the hell Sloan is trying to do in LSU's running game. Jackson is more in the Les Miles type of one-cut downhill "power" back type of mold.

Sloan did show a little more variety in the run game this past week which may have fit Jackson a little better. But I guess at this point it was too late as he is clearly 4th on the depth chart

He should have been in more this year imo

Based on what? Every time he was given a chance (albeit his chances were limited) he did nothing with it.

Harlem Berry has also had limited chances and has had a handful of flashes. Jujuan Johnson has turned limited chances into a role as RB2. Last year, Caden turned limited opportunities in RB1.

I hope the kid finds a place where he can thrive but his lack of PT is 100% based on his lack of production when given a chance.

My guess based off of what I've seen this far,

1. Caden Durham
2. Ju'Juan Johnson
3. Harlem Berry
4. Zavion Thomas
5. Malachi Lane

Dont blame him, but that seems low character to quit on your team in the middle of the season.
That's one way to look at it. Another is that he gave it a shot in his third season, realized he wasn't going to get significant playing time and decided to transfer because he wants to play, and believes he can contribute somewhere, maybe in an offense better suited to his skill set. As far as I know, he's never complained, worked hard, and as far as we know, done his best. No need to make any uniformed character judgements about the kid.

Good, i hope so because like i said above, thats not a good look to bail out on your team in the middle of the season. Anyone who thinks future coaches wouldnt look at that as a bad move are fooling themselves.

His first season he is a capable back. Then, suddenly, he and the LSU running game look totally inept. Did Jackson, and the rest of LSU's RBs, all of a sudden forget how to play RB over the course of one offseason? Or did something else happen to make it seem that way?

Lonn claimed Kaleb’s father told him he would be redshirting and entering the portal.

Kaleb’s mother replied to the tweet disputing the claim.

In other words, Lonn is still full of shite.

I should have known better

Next time you want to share fake news from this "insider", post a screenshot instead of the Twitter link before he deletes it to hide his bullshite.

I know a lot of people like to go with “he doesn’t fit the style” argument but just look at Auburn a few years ago. Spread offense, pocket QB (Stidham) and they had no problem with Kam Pettway not only being effective but being dominant. If people are gonna argue that we couldn’t have used Jackson in short yardage in goal line situations I’m sorry but there’s just no evidence to back it up.
