He's a Nola guy who has like a city rant talk show on radio years ago. Not sure if he's still on. He was always a clown when I would ever come across him, but I'm not saying he doesn't know.

I got that way about four years ago and death would have been a relief . It’s bad.

Bobby Hebert may have told him. Regardless, yeah he obviously knows people that would know

And people had taken what Lane said out of context. O maybe didn't want to go to hospital initially but obviously he eventually had no choice.

I'm not sure this is true, but why would he need permission to post that?

He does not appear to be a medical professional or otherwise covered under the HIPAA restrictions.

My grandfather died from sepsis in the 1930s when my mom was under 2 years old and her brother (my uncle) was 6 months old. Sepsis deaths were much more common before the proliferation of antibiotics.

good thing he’s an LSU employee.

i’ve seen commercials (for LSU obviously) that say they’re at the forefront of sepsis treatment and care.

Regardless, it’s completely inappropriate to post online. I can’t believe people think this is ok to do.

It doesn’t matter if he was in the hospital for a hemorrhoid. It’s the man’s private medical business and no one needs to be shopping for clicks by putting it out on Twitter if O hasn’t made a public announcement on it

His father was Phil Johnson, who was a very respected member of the NOLA media, back when that wasn’t a tongue-in-cheek statement. He might be a clown, but he is a plugged in clown.

It has about a 35% in hospital mortality rate and even those who survive have significant long term effects. There's video of him arriving at the game. He had a cane and looked unwell.

He is a prominent member of the staff and LSU is paying him $100k. He hadn’t been seen in over a month. I don’t care for Kaare and I understand it’s not his position to speak on it, but LSU should’ve made an announcement weeks ago so Kiffin didn’t have to dance around it.

This is part of being a public figure, unfortunately. People want to know.
