Bond was set at $151,000 total for all three charges, records show.

Lafourche Parish Public Information Officer Captain Brennan Matherne says Lacy turned himself in at 6:34 p.m. Sunday. Lacy was on trip out of state when his arrest warrant was issued, investigators said.

Name one person who served a life sentence for negligent homicide.

Now he can bond out and let the legal process run its course. It’s also, accept a deal, or go to trial a year from now.

Is the person saying Lacy swerved to avoid rear ending another car?

There are plenty of instances of well off youngsters panicking in situations like this and running or trying to cover it up. It has nothing to do with environment. And yes those parents would do whatever they could to try to get their children off.

There’s no way to know, but I’d be willing to bet he was either in possession of, or under the influence of something illegal at the time.
This is a troubled young man who clearly lacks discipline and doesn’t understand consequences.

I’m no lawyer, but chatgpt says the penalty for negligent homicide in Louisiana is max of 10 years.
Vehicular manslaughter is 5-30 years.

So I suppose it depends what charges they bring and if it goes to trial

Yes. Several of my posts calling out Tiger_Stomp have been deleted

Don’t know if that was “Lacy mom” as the poster stated, but someone got involved to remove posts.

If this is true, nobody should be defending Lacy.

quote:

Police alleged that Lacy, 24, drove around the crash scene and fled "without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash."

Especially if he was speeding and driving wildly. Makes me wonder if he was drunk or on something.
