He called to talk to him, but didnt offer a scholarship for another month?
I'm sure that went over well with a kid who'd already been spurned by LSU.

You're Orgeron obsessed clearly. Creating an entire thread on how it isn't his fault that LSU didn't land Etienne.
Because I saw a tweet by Justin Vincent (you know who that is?) that answered a years old question. I didn't say it was Les idiot, JV said it was Les. God you are dumb.

So he called him the day after he was hired as interim coach telling him that he wanted him, but he didn't extend an offer the day after he was hired as permanent HC? This makes sense to you?
I don't understand why it's so difficult to accept that fact that both Miles and Orgeron liked Akers better.

Orgeron was on him immediately, Les didn’t recruit him during the prime recruiting years - sophomore, junior, all the way to when he was fired.
eTA: you excuse Les but not 4 weeks of Orgeron

If by immediately you mean a month after he was hired, then sure.

All the tweet says is “a decision maker” you added the Les Miles part

Yet waited a full month after being hired to offer him.
Sounds like Orgeron had other priorities at RB, which is fine.

Let's blame him!
Damn it Voodoo! IT'S NOT O'S FAULT!
How many times do you have to reminded of this?

O liked him O was the one who told Miles about him.. Les didn’t like him

Link?
He recruited him. Kept him on the back burner in case Akers, an early enrollee, fell through.
Just like O.

Miles wasn’t recruiting him while he was our coach?

Someone replied “Les” to his tweet, and Vincent replied to that with this gif:
How could JV incriminate himself to Les at this point?
We all know who JV answers to now

Disappointed that I have to explain this.
A tweeter(?) asked JV if his comment about the decision maker was "Les".
JV used a Dave Chappelle gif of him taking the "Fif" in a court of law to answer.
Damn.

yup used to see him in reggies and shoot the shite with him all the time (including during the season)

You brought this topic to the rant... and started a huge meaningless argument about whether to blame the coach that's gone or the current coach about a recruit we missed... all as a distraction from what people saw on national tv last night versus the bs excuses you spew on here.

Ok
Les didn’t like him
Les was fired in September
O was made full time coach in November
Didn’t offer the kid for a month.
O didn’t exactly do a bang up job.

I didn’t know people were actually going around trying to figure out who was at fault for not getting TE. I guess it’s one of life’s great mysteries, but not really. As stated before, both les and o liked Akers better and slow played TE. It happens. Can’t get them all.

Can’t change that as HC

Multiple years of no recruiting by Miles.
Immediate call by Orgeron, offer 4 weeks later
Let’s blame Orgeron - The Rant

You keep ignoring the fact that neither did Clemson, you know the school he signed with

There is nothing to “excuse” Les for, he had a roster stacked with young RBs and had a shot with a prospect that everyone ranked higher.
Miles haters just feel the need to constantly bring this up just to trash him and make excuses for Os short comings
