Those stars are ultimately meaningless, but boy do they stick.

If he were rated by his actual ability coming out of HS he'd have been a 4 star and people wouldn't have this perception of sneaky good wideout who everyone doubted.

He should've been a 5 star. He was a very good receiver his true sophomore year and a total beast his Jr year.

They gave him the 3* because of his grades

Jefferson is obviously a top 3 WR, if not the best in the league, but that’s kinda an unfair comparison considering who those other teams have trying to throw the ball to the receiver corp.

He’s only making 3.3 million/year

He’s up for an extension after this year. He’s going to clear 25 to 30 million per year. That first big check hitting has to be the biggest rush of endorphins.

If Burrow chase and Jefferson all stay healthy those guys could make over 500 million combined in their NFL career.

Imagine what they could have got with NIL.

Friend of mine used to always say Mama Jefferson saved the best Jefferson for last.

A coworker was like, “I didn’t realize Jefferson went to LSU. How the hell did you guys only with one championship with him?”

Yeah bro… don’t remind me

Way more than that. Mahommes is making that alone on his contract.

I mean he went to camps, came from a family of D1 players, went to a high school known for putting out D1 players, and didn't break out until his junior year in college. It isn't like he didn't have exposure as a high school recruit. Some guys just take longer to develop than others. I don't think there's any indication he should have been rated higher out of high school. He just made a giant leap while he was in college. It happens

And maybe him being a lower rated recruit drove him to work even harder to show everyone he could be great.

But wasn't because Jackson was bad it was because Aranda was that good.

entire teams having fewer receiving yards from WRs than one player is compelling regardless how how poor those others teams' receivers or QBs are. It's not like it's week 4. These guys have played 13 games now

this. they have scouts crawling around SE louisiana.
and hes jordan and rickys brother, people went scout him.

the fact is he worked his arse off and became an elite route runner, and developed physically during his time at LSU.
