To perfect his rush 3 and drop 8 scheme.. Instead of giving up 74.....50 should be realistic??

The similarities to the shite defense Pelini ran at the end of the 2007 regular season were striking.

He had to change his entire scheme mid-game in the first week to adjust for losing our best pass rusher, several and mounting injuries to the secondary, as well as linebacker suspensions and quality depth.

He is getting a horrible rap for an excellent job in fielding an incredible defense despite the adversity that group faced.

We were down a starting linemen and basically three starters in the secondary. They were exhausted. Yeah they couldn't hang in overtime, but we should've realized that and not played conservative. 1st and goal from the 7, TD wins you the game and we never threw it in the end zone once. Three runs for three yards, FG.

That's our problem. We never want the offense to win a game. Same with Florida. shite even Bama there were people blaming the defense. College football is an offensive game. Oklahoma and OSU were giving up 30-40 to shitty Big 10 and Big 12 teams on the reg. But its not that big a deal when you can score 50+ on teams.

Giving up the gametying TD was brutal, although that was good coverage. And yes we should've blitzed more in OT, especially in hindsight.

But we held a good offense to 31 on the road. That's not great, but thats not a bad performance at all in today's CFB, especially with the injuries we had to deal with.

I’m just worried we won’t be able to score against their putrid run defense. It’s not hard to scheme against at all but I’m not convinced our offensive staff is up to the minor challenge

At one point we had more backups in than starters. Good try though

it'd be really cool if we let ed orgeron hire the defensive coordinator instead and we watch as Texas A&M drops 74 on us

...................in regulation

How about the bull shite that was the offense the entire game? That fourth and Aranda allowed LSU to have the lead dumbass because the defense scored the thing TD. Plus it had LSU out of the situation the play before. Hell if Delpit made the interception that hit him directly in the hands the play before, game over. The offense sucked arse most of the game and in OT.
Who the frick calls 3 shitty QB runs with 2 min left? WTF is that?

Morons gonna moron.

What are your coaching qualifications, dumbass?

I’m not talking about your PlayStation/Xbox HoF credentials. Or your travel ball HoF credentials.

Stick to your white oakley’s, flat brim caps, White Reebok’s, and boudin and coffee shop blabbering about how you’d score 100 and give up zero points every game. All of one people there believe you.

Aranda had a mediocre defense this year as far as LSU defenses go but you’re not allowed to say that lest the sunshine pumpers attack you. Pass defense was pretty blah this year

You are a special kind of dumb, aren't you.

Imagine our record the last few years without a great defense protecting the offense.

Or please just try to keep breathing - that's going to be more your level of computing power.

Truth. Our defense was not great this year. Doesn't mean Aranda isn't a good coach but we sucked at putting pressure on the QB. Yes we lost Chaisson but no one knows how good he even really is. Every team deals with injuries. We should not be playing a 3-4 defense and our blitz scheme needs some serious work. I thought we played soft at the corners this year as well. Not used to seeing DB's constantly 7-10 yards off receivers. Pretty easy to run your route like that. I think Aranda will fix it.
