Most people didn’t bitch about Aranda.

A select few retards did, and now they keep bringing up the OM game from last year to try and cover for Bo.

Whatever. There were a lot of complaints about Aranda last year. You have a short memory.

Offense has changed a lot since 2007. There is currently no reason to expect top 5 defenses out of Pelini.

Our defensive talent isn't fantastic right now, but the idea he needs his own recruits to be successful is asinine.

Nice try. I thought Aranda was a top shelf coordinator.

Further more, there was NEVER a qu3stion which team would win that game. This year it's completely different. The defense is playing looser than a two dollar whore.

Yes, I had concerns about the defense last year. Defense looked like dog shite against Texas first game.

Just a reminder that Aranda held A&M, UGA, Oklahoma, and Clemson to their worst offensive performances of the season to help us win a National Championship

Mizzou and Miss St have scored 12, 19, 14, and 0 in their other 4 games.

You do realize this is the worst 3 game start defense wise in LSU history

He does not

Nor does he realize the caliber of these offenses compared to that Ole Miss team, or how and why we gave up so many yards in that game vs this year. He also doesn't realize the recent track records of Pelini & Aranda against modern offenses. He also doesn't realize that teams like Kentucky, Arkansas, & Tennessee, have dominated against these same offenses.

This is what he sees:

Pelini give up lots of yards and points
Aranda give up lots of yards and points

Because he's a fricking idiot

I am bitching about Pelini. I just think the people saying we should fire O or O knows nothing are ridiculous.

I have no problem with criticism of where Aranda failed and had some bad games. I also have no problem with pointing out where he succeeded and overall was a great defensive coach as well as getting guys prepared for games and the nfl. He was also very good at making adjustments. Didn’t work out every time, but we saw some magic while he was here. Where I do have a problem is people saying we need to give peline two years while he’s producing the worst defense in LSU history. There are significant warning signs. HUGE. He has not been a DC in a very long time and we are in serious trouble the longer he stays here.

I don’t see people saying give Pelini two years. I think he is out after this year if you don’t see significant improvement this season. I don’t know who you think you’ll hire mid season who can install a new system in 7 games though if you fire Pelini now. I get people are angry but it’s just a dumb decision to fire Pelini now.

Also the people saying fire Orgeron are just idiots.

There are a few saying give him two years. Such as op. But yes. I think he will definitely be here at least a season.

There's a lot about the defense this year that there really is zero excuse for. That being said, he is installing a new system with players that were not recruited for it without a normal preseason to install it in.

We remeber. Bama lit up our defense. Florida had 5 drives of 75 yards.

We could not get anyone off the field on third down under Chavis or Aranda. Having said that we did not have 6 or 8 brain dead coverage busts per game. Usually only one or two.

And both were loaded with talent and scored less than Miss St and Mizzou.
