Juniors leaving early
Delpit - 99% - 1st round lock
Chaisson - 90% - 1st round bubble, huge potential
Jefferson - 80% - Joe gone, he should go
Cushenberry - 70% Day 2 pick, Center is not premium position, but won’t be next year either
Phillips - 60% - Day 2 pick
Shelvin - 50% - Day 2 pick, could be 1st round next year if he returned
Stevens - 40% - Day 2 pick, could be 1st round if he returned
Moss - 30% - Day 3 pick, Joe leaving, AG coming in, this may be his best shot
CEH - 25% - Day 3 pick, Heart of a giant, lacks NFL size/speed, loves LSU
Queen - 20% - Day 2 bubble, potential to blow up and become 1st rounder next year.

You should be (or sound like) an Alabama fan, not an LSU fan, wishing and encouraging all of these juniors to bail out on their team so that we have to start over from scratch next year. Some of you people are both hilarious and reprehensible at the same time, you aren't true LSU fans.

I'd put it more like:

Delpit - 99%
Chaisson - 75%
Jefferson - 65%
CEH - 60%
Shelvin - 50%
Phillips - 50%
Cush - 40%
Stevens - 40%
Moss - 30%
Queen - 10%

As someone posted before, if a kid can go in the top 2 rounds they should leave.
Rounds 3 and 4 make if a bit more iffy, but depending on the kids circumstance I could see some leaving.
The underclassmen on the O Line should all stay.
Our tackles whiffed on several occasions and the middle of our line went backwards in to many close yardage situations.
They could all use another year to get stronger and better to improve their draft status.

Shelvin might be a 1st round or 2nd round pick. He's the best player on our defense

Wouldn’t count on Shelvin coming back . He’s not too interested in academic side of football.

I think Clyde would be a late second day pick right now. He could benefit from staying. Ditto Chaisson. He has raw athletic talent but he only has about 15 games that he has played in up to this point. He could play himself into a Top 5 pick if he stays first next year

The way he played this season, if he gets down in the 330 range next year he would be an all-american and a first round lock. He could go after this year, but 3rd round would be his ceiling. He needs more time to put the “weight issues” knock against him to bed.

Delpit has is on film this year getting trucked and missing tackles as much as he is making great plays. I think his stock has slipped from the top 5 and he could benefit from another year, but I don’t expect him to come back.

CEH’s stock likely won’t be any higher then it is now, though I don’t know what other RBs are coming out this year. The only way he should consider coming back is if this is a RB heavy draft class which would push him down the board but next year was much lighter. He would definitely be one of the first RBs taken next year, especially is he was featured in the passing game all season.

Chaisson is a mystery to me. Analysts talk like his stock is very high, but his career production doesn’t match the hype. I have no idea where he would be drafted this spring, but I know if he came back and got double digit sacks, he’d be a top 10 pick. I’d guess he’s a 2-3 rounder right now, even though I’ve seen him projected as a 1st tounder.

Jefferson should probably go. His stock will depend on his combine numbers (esp 40 time). I don’t think he’ll get any faster next year, and he’s already a very good route runner and highly productive. Don’t see how another year improves his stock.

Everyone else that can, should return.

Delpit, Chaisson, Shelvin, Clyde and Jefferson are all 100% gone and they all should be. Phillips, Stevens and Cushenberry are probably 50/50. I think Charles and Deculus come back neither is close to NFL ready.
