This is so disgusting. A great Tiger never transfers. Period. You can't be a great Tiger and hit the portal.

Huh? Dude has played all over the field. He’s done everything he’s been asked to do, to the detriment of his development at any one position.

Out of curiosity, who on today’s team is a “great tiger?” All these guys are mercenaries. Just the way it is now. With maybe the exception of Nuss, I can’t think of a single one who wouldn’t leave for the right combination of money, PT, and development opportunities.

Don't change the subject. You called a mediocre player that's in the transfer portal Great!!!

Mercenary or not, calling this guy a great tiger is stupid.

Never will I exalt a player who transfers to another school, much less call him great. Pussification of America at work.

Then, using your logic, you should not consider Burrow and Daniel's LSU greats, or support their time at LSU.

They are Great Tigers. They are NOT great Buckeyes or Sun Devils. They were not good there.

If Johnson leaves LSU and goes kill it at another school, will he be a great Tiger? No, he'd be a great .....whatever...

Plenty people replying to me. Deal with it.

I like him and hope he stays here and has a great career. I think he'd do very well in Kiffins offense.

But you think i'm gonna sit here and say a dude transferring out is a great tiger? Hell no.

Your exact quote below. Using my logic wrong. You're literally talking our conversation and throwing in Burrow and Daniels. Your logic sucks.

"Then, using your logic, you should not consider Burrow and Daniel's LSU greats, or support their time at LSU. "

Jayden developed himself, remember him organizing his WRs to go to CA in the offseason and train? Kelly did not develop him.

I’m rooting for him. He’s done what he could to stay on the field. If I was him, ide walk into Vanderbilt to compete for rb or qb.

He is listed at 6’0” 210 which is exactly in line with NFL safeties

I want to see this.

This is one of those that you'll regret not trying just so you know. If it is truly a 'meaningless' game who cares.

I don't expect miracles. He would obviously be out of practice in the best of circumstances. But this is something I would love to see just so we know.

Why is he even playing? Give a player that will be sticking around those touches.

Transfer portal isn't until January so he's still on LSUs 2025 roster

Van Buren is getting the lion's share of snaps in practice. Who else would be getting snaps?

Agreed, but do you think he’s actually six feet?

. Unfortunately for him he is a supreme athlete that never got a chance to excel at one position. Is he good enough to, given the opportunity? We don't really know.

I don’t know if I really agree with this. He was heavily involved this year and I believe the primary rusher in multiple games this year. So he got many more opportunities to have the ball in his hands than most people that have ever worn an LSU uniform.

But I still agree,no hard feelings and hope he finds a great fit.
