(Study) The #LSU offense against Alabama had spots to make plays but when you break the film down it's obvious LSU is running a 90's spread attack. An offensive innovation upgrade is needed. Good enough to beat most not good enough to compete for National Titles consistently.

U don’t say

We have a 90s offense because we hired a dude who was last a coordinator in the 90s

hire a OC who hasn't called plays since the 90s, you get 90s plays called.

It's crazy how that works.

this statement would carry more weight with a video breakdown of what he is talking about.

A good point?

My 65 year old mother made this point during the game. Its obvious.
We traded a 1980's offense for a 1990 offense. Maybe by 2040 we will be running an actual RPO instead of still trying to line up heavy against Alabama.

ah the 90s...when the two guys in charge of overhauling our offense were spry 60 year olds.

I dont know.

We were an amazing 1970 offense and now we are a horrible 1990 offense.

LSU’s offense could be good enough to beat 128 D1 teams, but if it’s not good enough to beat Bama none of that matters.

I'd settle for an offense that could at least score on Bama

This scheme is so outdated that running Crowton's 2007 offense would be a step forward.

Yes an obvious point but one that will continue to keep us stuck in a time machine. Saban stays a step ahead...

Did anybody really think these crusty old guys that were mediocre position coaches to begin with would know or do anything else?

Situation is beyond pathetic and another confirmation that dumping decades long season tickets was the right decision.

Nothing is changing next season either. Only thing firing Miles did was costs LSU 10 Million Dollars.

At least it's not the 70's.

Is this not what people wanted?

You mean an OC from the 90’s is running 90’s offense?
