fat bastard please stop.

WE all know the SEC sucked a*$ that year and the quarterbacks in the conference were average at best.

UAB notwithstanding, Josh actually played well for most of the year in 2000. He did in fact help win some nice games. It was very big for the program- which had just gone through two years worth of a very rough ending to the DiNardo era.
I’m glad he happened to be here, at that time.

Could there be another “Josh to Abram” connection in Tiger Stadium in a few years?

God, let's hope not!

There are dozens of these junior high all American games and they’re all just scams to get the parents’ money. Most every kid can be invited to one or another if the parent asks and persists. If they know the parent has money they’ll definitely offer them the opportunity to play. Most of these games are coached by volunteer dad coaches... it’s pretty pathetic the lengths they go to to try to con folks out of money

Yea, he didn't have anything to do with them until they were pulled from Benton, put in Evangel and he realized they were above average at football.

I don’t think that’s it. But regardless, I’m glad he’s back in their lives.

Speaking of Abram, he played a big part of LSU beating #1 florsux and spurrier in 97, clutch catches. Had a great game in a loss to ND also. If Not for injury and a mostly running qb during his time he'd have been in the record books. Turned down florsux to come to LSU, so as one responder said already, 50% of this fan base sucks and is totally clueless.

Josh was the QB in '00 when we beat Bama for the first time in TS since '69. Threw for 4 TDs. That made this Tiger fan smile. I am grateful for that.

And NONE of these "fans", few of whom even suited up at that level, much less played in big games like that, can ever take that away from him.

I almost forgot he adlibbed the losing play against UAB. Almost.

Frankly, if that's my choice, lose to UAB (or any non-conference game) and then beat Bama during the same season, or the reverse, I lose to UAB every time.

Some of you pricks seem to forget that Josh's greatest accomplishment at LSU was leading the Tigers to their first victory in Tiger Stadium in 31 years against the hated gumps, 30-28 the year was 2000

I was there too and I don’t dislike him for particular plays like others have said. But some of you seem to be forgetting that mid the 90s Evangel and the Booty’s were a general pain in the arse. Josh bailing on LSU to sign with the Marlins pissed a lot people off (please note I don’t blame him, it was a lot of money but at the time it wasn’t as common, lots of players played both)

Also fair or not EC had a rep as not being LSU friendly. Remember after Josh and Abram, where did the other ECA QBs go? Berlin went to Florida around the time Josh was starting here and of course JD went to USC at the peak of LSU-USC split title “controversy”

And let’s also not forget ECA was/is extremely unpopular

Personal i would have been perfectly happy if the Booty’s and Manning’s all had nothing but girls
