It’s not a bad idea to know what your fan base is talking about. I know this board is the minority but it is the most vocal and extremely passionate (some may say too passionate).

I can see it happening for most coaches. I think once you cross that line of "see what people are saying about you/the program", it can be easy to keep getting pulled in.
It is when coaches cross the lurker to anonymous poster thresh-hold that things go too far (or when the coach has his lacky do it for him...Derek). I can understand wanting to put some truth/clarity out there when you read some bullshite, but I don't think anyone can really separate the emotions of running a program and directly interacting with people who sit around a judge the merits of your job.
