In my opinion, Jordy needs to fight this publicly.
At 2pm Lafayette time tomorrow, he needs to spill EVERYTHING on 103.7 FM.
Gave this some more thought today...
Being late July, his listeners would absolutely be OK with Jordy straying away from baseball/preseason college football topics and spending a good 6-8 hours of airtime this week discussing the details of his failed marriage and Saturday's events.
Also, I have heard several rumors saying that his marital problems started after he wasn't tapped to be Jim Hawthorne's replacement. He needs to also publicly deny this and announce to the Acadian local sports radio listening nation that he knows he was never even the tiniest bit qualified to be the voice of the Tigers.

I can't speak as to why he was fired from WBRZ but the story on his being taken off the sidelines at TS has always been that he was using inside information on the Tigers, gained by his position with LSU, on his radio show. After repeatedly being warned to cease & desist. There has always been a lot of smoke out there bout his running around, but that is not illegal & far from uncommon, especially in the sports world, unfortunately. His asking the police officer "do you know who I am ?" was obviously lifted from Tim Brando, who was known to use it all the time, especially in trying to get the best table in a restaurant or skip any waiting line.
