His wife is an attorney and got her estranged husband arrested after entering his residence uninvited. America, frick yea.
Well if they are in the middle of a divorce and he gets caught cheating, he is fricked settlement-wise. So she wins the regular game by catching him in the act, then she wins the bonus round when he puts his hands on her.

So, is the domestic abuse that he grabbed her chin and tried to kiss her? His ex-wife?
So, she calls the police and has him arrested? Doesn't sound like she was very concerned about him.
And, they are going through divorce proceedings. Sounds like she wants to weaken him in court.
I'm all for arresting guys who hit women and stuff like that. But, either this wasn't very descriptive or it is a set up job.

Please understand that the daughter involved here is 11 years old and dearly loves Shannon and Jordy. I hope some of you get it .
The 11 year old daughter did him dirty!
She's the one that called Mom and told her to come over right away (Mom didn't have time change out of pajamas). Mother/Daughter obviously had a previous arrangement to alert when the new side-piece was sleeping over (again).
She's also the one that left the front door open that eventually led to Jordy going all Edward Scissorhands on her Mom's pajamas. If there was a knock or doorbell ring, Jordy would haven't been blitzkreiged and he could have had a more level headed defensive decision.
The young lady can think long and hard about this when Dad is no-longer to get her all the awesome access to the Tigers...

How do you know the daughter was there? I do not think so.

Just because you read this in the thread on the OT doesn't make it true...

Yeah cause that's exactly what she's worried about. Wtf. Some simple minded people in the Rant.

If she was tasked by the daughter to check on her dads well being, then she seems to have had plenty of opportunity to do just that and leave.
The door was remarkably open for her entry, she saw another woman inside and Jordy himself. A "Hey, your daughter was worried, we'll leave now" seems appropriate.
Whole story is fishy to me from one side. Especially the door open, he forcible kisses her and she refused medical treatment.
Domestic violence is real, but so is false accusation.

I can't even imagine some of the insidious remarks and comments on this matter. Sad.

Why is it so hard to wrap your head around refusal of medical treatment? Let me guess, you're the type that goes to the ER for a "small abrasion on your left elbow and a dark mark that could be a bruise on your temple".

That's it? Fcuk that.

So, she came barging in raising all kind of hell, escalating an already estranged relationship and he gets arrested? Yep, women have all the rights.

If someone else is getting arrested for physically abusing you, then yes I believe medical staff should be involved and determine injuries.
Your premise is silly. If I injure myself and don't seek medical treatment, it affects no one but myself.
If I accuse someone of beating me, then yes, I should have a medical professional verify my injuries.
I'm amazed some of you posters don't walk on all fours.

This is going to get him off.
You can't believe anything an ex-wife says when she catches him with another woman.

Read the fricking article. The injuries are already in the police report. Clearly the physical wounds were superficial and they are present. Keyword: Present. There is no need for further medical examination. Think about it. Why does she need to verify them twice? I'll wait.

As if a man with two children in America with an attorney for an ex wasn't fricked settlement wise already.

quote:You can't be this dense. There are moving pieces in this puzzle. That's the EXACT reason you verify using a medical professional to document injuries. The police are not medical professionals and they will tell you this themselves. Wounds could have been there for days, self-inflicted, etc.
