100% it was a setup. Zero reason any member of the BOS needed to be there for that meeting, and to say that you will have legal representation present but the defending party isn't allowed to bring theirs is just laughable.

I’m going to need an elaborate hypothetical on this one, please.
Whether it’s politics or improvement of facilities & money or if they already have proof Wade did wrong
I’m not going to guess or make up a conspiracy
Wade HAS NOT been investigated
The NCAA has NOT investigated LSU, has NOT said they will investigate
LSU suspended Wade
They have a reason for suspending him & the excuse of not showing up for a meeting is bullshite
There was no reason to call a meeting at this time

So why is it if wade makes it through the fbi investigation on Dawkins and never takes the stand, 2 wire taps is all they have released, does wade have to be fired? Even with the ncaa sanctions( if they come)? Why can’t he still be the coach? So what! I’d support LSU on probation with wade on the sidelines than what I’m afraid LSU will get as a coach. It feels like Matt Luke at ole miss. Atleast if wade stayed I’d feel better about ingame coaching. Does anyone believe LSU would get a wade caliber coach?

I'm beginning to see that our anger was misguided towards Alleva (partially). I'm certainly no fan of Alleva for his past screw-ups, but it seems like James Williams is now the man to take issue with.

This is what gets me too. According to his bio he is in the "top 1% of lawyers in the country"... if that's true then he knows
And consequently if Wade was his client, he would have advised Wade to do just what he did.
He forced the issue knowing what the outcome would be. That's obvious.

OK. OK. It appears my fellow Rantards are getting closer to figuring this thing out

Alleva has proven to be an empty suit.
Instead of leading from strength, he had proven that he can easily be circumvented by those in s supervisory position over him,

After how the Miles situation was handled & now this any decent coach would be stupid to come to LSU

Nothing, and i mean zero of this entire situation has a positive in it about Wade. Wsde did this, NO ONE else. He wants questions..i have one. Who do you think you are you little prick, besides the fricking moron that has our LSU on the verge of NCAA sanctiins and loss of scholarships and eligibility, all because you're too stupid to walk and chew gum, much less arrange a bribery scheme?
The “you’re not the boss of me” stance is a bit naive under the circumstances. This isn’t Billy Ray showing up late for the late shift at Waffle House.

No the big difference is Saban had a President that shared his vision and understood the importance of athletics and its role as a marketer for the university as a whole. F King is the polar opposite
The difference is the potential return on investment. If you invest heavily in football, the rewards for a great program are immense. The rewards for a great basketball program are significantly less. It's why Nikki Fargas still has a job. There is no significant incentive for replacing her, because the program will still lose money even if it's winning. As long as the needs of the girls basketball players are being met per Title 9, the admin will be satisfied.

Somebody on another website said that James Williams loves Verge Ausberry and don’t be surprise if he is the next AD.

My opinion was based on Wade not meeting with LSU. If these details are true it just proves my point even more lol

At this point you look stupid.
Wade was willing to meet with the AD and President. Those spineless cowards moved the meeting, added legal representation and board members while simultaneously preventing him from having his own counsel there with no agenda set.
