Jordy Cullotta gets kudos from Dick Vitale

During the AL/UK basketball game, Vitale gives Jordy Cullotta a shout out for telling him that Cam Thomas was going to be a special player. Jordy really presses him any time he’s on the air and I’m sorta shocked Vitale would give him any kind of praise.

Of course he couldn’t remember the term “Baton Rouge” to save his life. The radio guys there in...they told me...the guy in the area there, Jordy Cullota.
ETA: But he did manage to spit that out and say we were one of the top two teams in the league with Tennessee, without mentioning the NCAA.

We def have one of the top 3 teams in the SEC. Just need to play like it and handle business. Kentucky is absolutely terrible.

As he was watching his buddy get his shite pushed in once again this season just as people started to think they were bouncing back.

You don’t get where Dick has gotten in that profession by holding grudges with local sports media stations or on the air guys. You will always need them at some point again for insight into the particular program they are close with and no media guy is closer to the LSU basketball program than Jordy Culotta. His “source” is Will Wade himself.

Dick wants to be liked by everyone. His hypocritical stance against WW had burned that bridge with most LSU fans. His weak and unthought out attempt to mend that fence, which at this point is un-mendable, is kinda sad actually.
