Oklahoma St hired an Ivy League OC (35 yrs old) that has only called plays for two years but broke Ivy League records.
Josh Gattis, also 35 yrs old, pretty much did the same thing at Bama in 2018 that Brady is supposed to be doing this year at LSU. He's now at Michigan.
Graham Harrell (34) was the OC at North Texas for a few years and is now the OC at USC.
I know there are some more, but these are the names I remember most.

I'm with you. While I'm optimistic that at least you will be able to see his fingerprints on the offense, I don't necessarily believe he's going to be calling any plays. I think he'll help make weekly game plans, add stuff from the Saints and Moorhead's offense, and offer his input, but I don't think he'll be the one actually calling the plays.

Ensminger's experienced and has done this awhile, he probably has a decent feel for the flow of the game, but his playbook sucks. Brady is updating the playbook probably, and giving him a more creative set of plays to go with. Ensminger will choose which plays.
Keep reading through the thread, because this was my point. Brady isn’t choosing which plays are run and giving them to Ensminger. He’s making occasional suggestions that Ensminger May or may not use.
