On Get Up! the topic was which too team hired the best young play caller to jumpstart their championship hopes. Rodger immediately said Brady. He didn't give a lot as to why other than he's worked under Sean Payton and that's the hot thing going around. Just hire anyone that's in a high powered offense. I kind of had it on in the background. Maybe someone else can add to this. Regardless, it's always nice to here the "experts" say good things about our Tigers!

It feels nice to have some relevance and respect going around for LSU again.

Say what y’all want, but Coach O has brought LSU back into the national conversation

Pretty incredible for someone who has yet to call a single play in his professional career. I will wait until August 31 to see whether he is actually influencing and calling plays as opposed to Ensminger. I don't care what propaganda O and the Football Ops are whipping out.

What other teams have hired young play callers? And how does Jordan Rodgers know how good a playcaller Brady is? How can anybody know how good a playcaller Brady is?

PREFACE: I'm' about to rip on Jordan Rodgers, NOT Joe Brady.

How on Earth can Jordan Rodgers have an opinion on how good a playcaller is who, as far as I know, has never called a play? And even if he has called some plays, it's not like they send out a report of which plays he called vs. which plays the OC called vs. which plays Sean Payton called.

You even said it yourself, "he didn't give a lot as to why"... because he has absolutely no idea yet he's going on TV running his mouth anyway.

It's almost as bad as when I hear people talk about how Sark is going to be good for Tua. There is absolutely zero evidence to support that other "well Saban likes him so he must know what he was doing".

He’s so good he made the list even though he’s never called a single play in his life

Why do y’all have to take any positive thread and shite on it? My god.

Regardless of whether or not Jordan Rodgers knows anything about anything, it’s good to have LSU and offense on a national show in a positive light.

I completely agree.

This is coming from an analyst that has blasted Orgeron in the past.

Wasn’t Sean Peyton’s analysis and recommendation pretty benign? Paraphrasing but I remember, ‘he was here and some people liked him’ kind of stuff.

Not getting all hyped up like we did for Canada here.

That's specifically why I said it's always nice to have "experts" saying nice things about the Tigers. No one really knows how this is gonna turn out. The season is almost here. There's nothing wrong with being happy that someone said something good about the team.

Thank you for bringing a little common sense to this board.

And he isn't even really the play caller. That's why I put quotations around it.

At a basic level, sure. But to my knowledge, Brady has never called plays and won't be calling plays for us. That said, I hope he has some influence to bring our passing offense out of stone age.

If he has said Joe Brady sucked, I guarantee there would be multiple threads on it.

Congrats. You pretty much got the gist of the thread. It's nice that people are talking good about us, but there are apt of dynamics at play here.

Yeah because that would be a very dumb take. There's nothing that points to him sucking at his job, whatever his job duties may be.

Not that I'm aware of. He may have even pointed that out. As I said I had it on in the background. It was at 8:32 when he said it if someone wants to go listen once it's posted.

Serious question, do you even fricking read other people's replies? Literally NO ONE in the post above yours says that it is a not a good thing that we are being talked about positively.

I guess bringing to light that Brady has never actually had an in game play call is "shitting" on a thread. It is a genuine thought that people bring that up. That's the issue with you and other people like Ree and Lester Earl, yall put your hands on your ears and refuse to acknowledge when people have legitimate concerns, criticism, or thoughts. Too busy pumping sunshine.
