Don't put it past Miles to find a way to work JJ into the starters role by mid-season... that wouldn't be any stranger than the way he handled the QB position the last couple of years...

You nailed it,both guys with Krags could've been completely different players.

Perhaps, but IMO Crowton gets way too much blame in this. JJ's best year was '09 (his soph season). For my part, there didn't seem like a lot of improvement between '10 and '11 with him.

In fact, two of his better games were 2.5 of the last 4 under Crowton (Bama 2nd half '10, OM '10, and TA&M) while two of his worst games were his last two under Krags (UGA and Bama II).

He won't even be able to crack an AFL roster.

truth.

Maybe this thread should have been posted on the more sports board, if we are required to act like choir boys, if we post on the Tiger Rant.

He was a topic on TD for months, with his supporters considering aloud whether he would be drafted, which elicited laughter from some of us.

We doubters deserve a moment to point out that such draft day talk was delusional, now that his free agency has played out.

I am at a complete loss to see how any LSU fan can view this as a good thing for LSU. Personally, aside from the Cecil Collins-level multiple felon/sex offender scumbags, I always want to see former Tigers do well, in football and otherwise.

I guess pettiness is more important than LSU to some of the Rantards.

not really. after being their lowest rated prospect before the combine, NFL.com said he did well at the combine and that he might get drafted in the 5th. I thought that was probably a reach, but you did have ppl other than "his supporters" saying him getting drafted was possible.

This is some dumb shite!

The NFL is a long shot for most athletes. There are less than 1700 positions. He hasn't failed, he just didn't pass an interview. There are other opportunities in football or other careers. His LSU degree gives him every opportunity to succeed in life.

After reading these responses, I just realized that Paris Hilton and Snookie have accomplished more than me.

Why don't I feel bad about it, though?
