Never been a fan of Just Me, but this post is extremely convincing. I think this is becoming a railroad job and these boys need to be set free soon and move on with their lives.

Why would BRPD want to railroad the starting qb of LSU?

However, Lowery can NOT identify who kicked him. So who saw it? Lowery's paramour?

In the initial police report, Lowery did offer the names of both JJ's. With Bienvinue now saying Lowery has no idea who kicked him, I have to wonder how those names were floated to the cop just an hour after the fight.

Lowery states that he believes that Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns, both LSU football players, were two of the individuals who attacked him.

Report here as a refresher

Why are all these witnesses just now showing up to testify?

This is the first opportunity for witnesses to testify, so i'm not sure what you're talking about it.

If JJ was innocent, why didn't all these people volunteer their testimony during the investigation?

Certain witnesses attempted to volunteer information to the BRPD but were turned away.

For, what, 2 weeks the police were investigating and to my recollection the majority of the witnesses were pro-"victims".

As far as I know, only nine people ever gave statements to the police - the four accused, the four victims, and Long.

they f'd up the investigation and now, instead of just admitting they f'd up, the DA is passing the buck by sending it to the GJ. Its out of hand and should've never gotten this far

You trolling as usual? Nothing to say so I'll just attempt to make fun of someone who doesn't share my view? You suck.

No more than you trolling and bitching about Team Sweep. All this is missing is Cpt. and this thread will be all set.

Fwiw, I've said my peace on this case already. I think the investigation, DNA tests, etc. looked like a fricking Mickey Mouse operation. It's been all he said/he said from the beginning and the fact that it's gotten to a fricking grand jury is equally as embarrassing. This is all so ridiculous that it doesn't require me to get in to any type of intellectual discussions. I'm content on just sitting back and watching this thing play out.

Don't confuse intent with incompetence.

The fact that no one has fingered another suspect looks bad for JJ and those that were present. I doubt they can prove without a doubt who did it, but i think we all have an idea. Thats unfortunate.

And i hope to God that JJ isnt taking the fall and screwing his career by covering for another player who gets to play every week. That would be terribly sad.

Just to clarify, the DA did not investigate this matter at all prior to charges being filed by the BRPD.

Who ever said they did?

They acted upon the statements of Lowery and paramour.

That's what the police are supposed to do.

[They did a bunch of other stuff that I question, but the bottomline is that they did their job: arrest people based upon the statements of other people.]

Perhaps the most puzzling thing to go down in this case. Not to mention Nathan Fisher is also on record saying that BRPD wasn't interested in hearing anything he had to say or review anything he wanted to turn over. This thing was botched from the beginning. Going 0-49 on the shoes certainly didn't help things either.

True, but this whole thing really isn't about football for me. I wish people would learn to separate the two now. JJ will not be the starting QB again. You can book that. However, if you're ok with a couple of kids getting railroaded just so the football team can do well then I'm not sure what to tell you other than

If Jefferson wasn't involved, there is noway he would have been arrested. Please tell me what good it does the BRPD for arresting the starting qb of LSU? Jefferson was involved and the grand jury will not send it to trial b/c Hillar doesn't want it to go to trial. The grand jury will basically do whatever Hillar wants them to do.

Holeeeshite!!!!!!

The only part of the post that even merits a response is the question and the answer is, it didn't do any good.

From where I sit.. ( NW Louisiana, no personal knowledge of any of the parties, no inside info, ect...) I have yet to see anything in this that adds up to a "guilty" for either of the JJ's.

no, no

I just got a kick out of how all these "Team Sweep" clowns kept saying they'd get our starting QB cleared for Oregon, my comment is really tongue in cheek

There you go!

You summed up the thoughts of more than just yourself in that short, but sad statement.

To hell with anyone's rights or due process...I just don't want "Jefferson" to be able to play, huh.

Well, at least you are not hiding your displeasure with JJ behind the "I just want justice" smoke screen.
