They're only sitting there so it won't look so empty. From TV this looks like a record low crowd in school history.

I think it actually is possible. I'm sure they've been hoping to just make it to the end of the season and do it then but their hand may truly be forced. Hard to stand by with this garbage and not make the move.

It doesn't matter if they fire him now or in March. If Alleva is still here to make the hire you can count on a clusterfrick to ensue.

This. Any trust I had in Alleva is long gone after that debacle of a coaching "search"

The fact that Alleva only shows up when he can fire someone just sucks. And regardless of how bad you think the coach is, going in to the toughest part of the season without any coach is giving up for the year. So I'm not surprised if we fire the coach and lose the rest of the games. It seems like thats what everybody wants.

The team gave up when we played Wake Forest. He should have been fired then, or after the clusterfrick last season when they also quit. The fact is Alleva waited too long to have a reasonable chance of salvaging anything this season. The guy is a complete incompetent and should have been fired after he bungled the Miles to Arkansas gift.

Here's a news flash for you buddy, the team has already quit. They don't need to fire the coach to prove they've already given up on the season.
Who cares at this point. A change may benefit the players on this team. Keeping Jones sure isnt

Most on this board has quit on LSU too ... 90% of the posts at anytime are about the coach. That's always been the case
