Denard Robinson 2.0. Will look spectacular against crappy defenses 7-8 games a year and very ordinary the rest of the games against good SEC defenses.

Agree, and even if he's better than Robinson, our D is too good to let him just do whatever he wants on the field

Perhaps, but he has to play the LSU D 3 more yrs too.

He's probably thinking: "Damn, I have to play that team 3 more times and 2 of those in TS!!"

Looking at his size, he's not the prototypical QB, but he's certainly knows how to make the moves. Reminds me of Fran Tarkenton who lasted 18 years in the NFL, despite his small size:

They went from saying he will be invited to nyc to he has no chance after he played us. 51% 3ints. Not very good. We also bottled up his run game.

That exactly what I told my wife after the 1st quarter of their game against UF.

He won't do much unless we get some receivers that can stretch the field, and if he improves his mechanics. Threw off his back foot way too much against you guys and UF. RSFish and all that, there's a lot of potential, but that's just comforting talk. Potential means shite.

What makes you think he'll be around for 3 more seasons if he's that good? Maybe 2 more years. He's a good one for sure - let's see if he can stay healthy. He definitely is quick. Hardest QB to tackle I have seen in SEC since Cam Newton. Good luck to ATM rest of season. Maybe they will beat ALA. after we do. Geaux Aggies!

I think Johnny could do well in the LSU offense.

He'd make the hand-offs and toss sweeps very well, give a little boot-leg threat, and hit the 25 yard and shorter passes with ease.
