I'll have this bookmarked when the idiots in here are cheering for LSU in the NCAA Tournament. But apparently only one side of the argument matters in here and it isn't my side. Instead of bashing the Pro Jones supporters you should congrats them for believing in the program which 95% of thr rant has given up on

Cool, man. I'll be too busy being happy that the team I cheer for is doing good things to worry about your childish bullshite.

Your argument doesn't matter any more or less than others. It's just way more idiotic than the rest.

Whew! I thought for sure another school would try and steal him from us.

Bookmark it.

I will still be supporting the team and Johnny will be out.

Nothing will change except the head coach.

So you're supporting the team and hoping the coach fails in the process? Gotcha, true Tiger fan

Who are you to judge the fandom of others?

I could say you're a shitty fan because you support below par basketball.

Who should we hire to really coach the team? Jones has no offense philosophy. None. If there are no assistant coaches added, this team will be unwatchable.

That's not at all what he said. I very much want Jones to succeed. Seems like a good guy and he obviously loves LSU. But wanting him to succeed and believing he has a remote chance of doing so are two totally different things.

I won't be. I have gotten excited the last two years and both teams underachieved even with multiple NBA players on both teams

It's not the program that people are giving up on, you obtuse goofball. It's the person they put in charge of it that proved this season that he is in over his head.

I agree Alleva needs to go. But Jones deserves another yeah based on where he's gotten to team when he came in.

So, he showed adequate performance for three years, then in his fourth year, cannot motivate his subordinates(players), displays below average strategic ability, fails in spectacular(and with much media coverage) fashion to achieve his goal, then, throws out a variety of excuses, only to belatedly accept responsibility.

You know what that usually gets you? Fired. Other coaches have been fired for much less.

With JJ, it may be 16 W - 17 L.

With the projected 4-14 SEC record, that would be a strong 12-3 out of conference.

And some programs continue to struggle after. We aren't Kentucky where you can fire a coach a bring in the next best thing. We're LSU, which basketball is the 3rd biggest sport on campus.

Whatever you say. Jones straight up lost his team.

They will struggle with him. He's a mediocre coach.
