Joe Schad Reports That Decision Was Made in Third Quarter

SChad reports that LSU leaders made decision to retain Miles in third quarter of TAMU game based on two factors:
(1) media coverage swayed public opinion and painted Miles as a sympathetic figure;
(2) although private donors would have covered buyout, could have made it more difficult for LSU to approach the legislature for money in the future
He said this on espn moments ago.

I think he's full of shite unless he names names. The media has egg on its face for running with the story and needs to explain it away.

So basically none of that happened?

I can believe all of that, but it comes down to one thing an old boss used to tell me:
Poor planning makes for emergencies. They fricked themselves. If CLM needed to go in the middle of the season, they should have done what they needed to do, damn the torpedoes and all. If they wanted to line up a credible successor (the only respectable move) they shouldn't have gotten liquored up and spazzed the frick out with three games left on the schedule. Yes, I did the same. But I'm not in my late 50s and not worth millions of dollars.
frick them. Les at his worst is worth the whole lot of them. And frick Alleva.

That's just not true. He's grasping now that his story was bullshite.

My sources indicate that Schad knows nothing and can go frick himself.

Other than all the "unnamed sources" cited by ESPN, what "decision maker" ever said, on the record, that Les was gone? If there is one, I want to see the video. This whole situation was caused by a minority of disgruntled boosters who think they have more stroke than they do.

Joe doesn't know shite.

of which game, ours or Florida States as they ran up the score on Florida and drove Jimbos price up?

Schad was reporting that Les could be dismissed earlier in the week and he obviously flubbed the Miles to Michigan declaration.
Considering how well his "sources" have come through for him in regards to LSU, I don't know how he still has a job.
