Don't forget that according to 247 sports Brennan is a little more higher rated than Burrows. Both four stars but Brennan graded a little higher than Burrows. We just need Burrows as a backup plan. We just need to fatten Myles up a bit then turn him loose.

I’ll be honest if we aren’t running designed runs with Brennan I dont Think he’ll have issues

It’s not like there are a lot of QBs out there that are great if you just let them get smoked every play.

Do you need to start a shitty thread about everything that comes into your head? Everything you post has been discussed at length.

I don’t know what’s more sad: the fact that this is true, or the fact that LSU fans are excited about this...

Stupid to compare rating out of high school when they weren’t even in the same class.

The difference is, one of these QBs has actually been developed since his high school days by a proven developer of QBs.

perhaps the most damning in house hire was hiring within the program at OC. We should have brought in fresh blood after we forced Canada to leave. You give it two years. This staff averages 7 wins in two seasons we fixing to fire everyone and hopefully hire Arranda for the head coaching spot

Oh sure...we all know he'll never have to scramble and run against Bama or Georgia!

True. He doesn’t need to be Rohan Davey fat to take a shot and get back up. I don’t remember Fraternity Flynn having much of a problem getting back up after taking a shot.

At the very least a proven qb coach should have been hired. Keeping Mickey Joseph on staff just to please the NOLA coaches happy is bullshite. That spot could have went to qb coach.

It amazes me how forgotten Brennan underwhelming spring game has gotten, but people are quick to bring up a play where McMillian didn't throw a good ball.

And OP is an idiot for using recruiting rankings, do you not realized how much of a crap shoot rating Quarterbacks is? There's been hundreds of 4* and 5* that have turned out to be trash, more than the ones who turn out to be great.

Agreed. I think the instability factor when you make changes in the staff a lot effects recruiting just as much as making a good hire.

Yeah but what else can you go on. Spring games? We don’t have much to judge these guys on to begin with other than recruiting rankings. We got spring games and a couple snaps against bad teams. You can say same thing if you predominately are using spring games by evaluating the two.

My point is both are not far off talent wise and arm strength wise. I thought Burrow was a little more accurate but again that’s throws in a spring game.

If Brennan isn’t the guy then we have serious development problems.

He didn’t look near worthy of the starting gig against Miami

Generally your scrambling to avoid contact.

And QBs can slide.
