burrow on the season vs miami and an FCS team: 21/44(48%), 291 yards, 2 tds
mond in the 2nd half saturday vs the #2 team in the country: 16/23(70%), 333 yards, 3 td
whats the deal here? burrow is a 4th year junior, has a former biletnikoff semifinalst and current watchlist member, randy moss' son, multiple 4 and 5 star weapons all over the field, the next marshawn lynch, the best JUCO OT in the country, an OL coach with multiple super bowl rings, a wr coach with 20+ years nfl experience, teammates that truly love him, an OC that has set multuple school records and is installing the best parts of every offense ever created into 1 offense, and a HC that has learned from his past mistakes.
mond is a true sophomore that was honestly pretty bad last year, has 2 4 star receivers, no coaches with superbowl rings or notable nfl experience, and a OC/HC that was sub .500 last year and yelled at fans that one time.
wheres the disconnect?

Better is being nice. One is a master qb developer AND the third highest win % out of current fbs coaches only behind cum and Petersen.

Man the Chris Curry and Marshawn Lynch comparisons over the off season were fricking killing me. If he were the next Marshawn Lynch then UGA, Bama, and other big boys would have put up a bigger fight on the recruiting trail.

Your giving the oline to much credit.
Matt Flynn tweeted it perfect, max protect leaving 8 in to block 6 means your QBs only has two options that are both double covered.
If your line isn't holding up you should give a QB more options to get rid of the ball faster not less. If you have 3 to 4 receiver's running patterns he should be able to dump the ball faster.
So it all comes back to coaching and using schemes that help the qb. Lsu has been in a long pattern of ultra conservative offense. O and E dont seem to be changing that.

Coaching is one thing, being behind is another. Aggy also seems to have better receivers at this point than LSU has.

I still can't believe people don't realize that Fisher wanted out of FSU. Their administration is bad like ours and refused to pay for better assistant coaches. The guy just didn't give a shite anymore.
