Was wondering why he wasn’t on this seasons.
Kirk cousins is about as interesting as a cardboard box and mahomes and his wife (esp his wife) are super annoying people. Mariota I just have zero interest in.

Cousins isn’t bad but Mariota makes no sense at all. No personality and hot garbage at QB.

Yeah I jus figured if you were gonna make a show like that it’s be with guys like burrow, Allen, and mahomes or Herbert or something. I couldn’t get past the first episode.

I thought Cousins was a solid pick for the show. Family man, relatable. The type of guy the NFL wants to highlight.
They should go get Brock Purdy and Baker Mayfield for the other 2

It's pretty clear they went for a superstar (Mahomes) and middle of the road guy trying to get over the hump (Cousins) and a come back/underdog story (Mariota).
This season they have Burrow as the star role. I disagree with your point about Cousins completely. I came away having a ton of respect for him. He will probably my favorite part of the show.

I would imagine it was somewhat difficult to find quarterbacks to agree to letting a camera follow around their personal lives all season long. Especially since it was the first season of the show. From reports, it looks like they are having a hard time finding guys for season 2 as well.

I feel like you can see the CTE setting in on Mariotta in this show.

Actually the show made me like her a little more. She is very competitive like he is and they said she played college soccer even if it was some little shite on the wall college. I like how she said she played professionally in ICELAND. Lmao. Gurl get over yourself.

The Golf series Full Swing was much better, and they had different golfers featured in each episode. I couldn't make it past season 2 of the Quarterback. All in all Cousins, Mahomes and Mariota just aren't intriguing enough to carry 8 episodes for me.

This. You don’t cover every superstar in season 1 of a show that you intend to have stick around. The goal was the show a range of QB’s and their daily NFL life/experiences

One thing that show made me realize is that despite the rules protecting QBs, those guys get freaking PUMMELED by the nastiest, strongest most athletic individuals on earth. For 17 straight weekends.
