David Woodley started the Super Bowl for Miami but Dan Marino finished the game for Miami. Dan Marino is one of the greats. Everyone just assumed he would get another shot. He did not.

It's hard to get where Joe is. In fact Joe Namath never got close after the one he won. Look at Drew also.

EDITED TO SAY: DON STROCK REPLACED DAVID WOODLEY IN THE 1983 SUPER BOWL. MARINO PLAYED IN THE 1984 SUPER BOWL. NEVER SAW nother one.

People don’t realize how much has to go right just to make it to a super bowl. How many bounces you have to get, have your team salaries structured the right way. The bengals have about a 2-3 year window with Burrow and Chase before both demand massive contracts. Mixon and Higgins will have to get paid too.

Are you trying to say they both played in the same game?

The AFC is loaded for years to come. This will not be your New England/ Colts matchup for a decade.

Woodley played in the Super Bowl against the Name Redacteds. Marino was with Pitt at the time.

They really overachieved if you really think about it. They arguably had the worst offensive line to make a super bowl appearance. They also lost to the browns, bears and the jets during the regular season.

Beef up that oline and he’ll get back. Some of you still don’t appreciate how great this guy is. He just dragged a shite coach and historically pathetic franchise to a super bowl despite running for his life all year.

Which statistically is weird when you think about it. Because on its face it’s 1/32.

Then you can eliminate several teams, currently: Detroit, Jacksonville, Houston, Cleveland, Miami, NYG, NYJ, Chicago

1/24 doesn’t seem so bad

Offensive line and they are golden. They have a solid defense of they can keep it together long to get a good o line.

They have plenty money to go get a fee good linemen.
Give Joe the time Matt had and he wins by 14.

Definitely possible. It’s still the bengals anyone thinking they will just stroll to multiple Super Bowls is crazy

It's incredibly difficult to get to.

I wouldn't be surprised either way.

The Bengals had the most cap space of any AFC playoff team I believe. If they make very good roster moves over the next 2 years they have a chance to get back. But it's not easy and the AFC is loaded with great young QBs that will make it difficult.
