First, who is "we". Because the only comingling of Football and Academic money comes FROM FB, and is given TO academics. That fact is the source of the real burn Burrow just scorched Robert Mann with.

Second, it's a shame "we" spend money on many things far less important than college athletics. But we do.

Third, you have no clue whatsoever as to Burrow's personal concerns about education, much less the pros and cons of tOSU vs LSU specific to his situation and major. He is the first player at SEC Days I've ever seen refer to astrophysics during his interview. To most folks Burrow would exactly "sound like the kind of person to use as an example of student athlete."

It sucks that Middleton is such a shite hole and the state and LSUs admin are inept, but I don’t see why that should cause backlash for the football team being extraordinarily profitable and using its money and donations. I guess people on the academic side of things are just bitter which is kinda understandable but is really just misplaced anger

This from a tenured professor that can’t be fired paid for by students that can no longer afford their high salaries. Frick all of them!

What the frick? Where do these people get off thinking they're entitled to money that the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT raised? The university gets endowments and donations, I know they do for a fact and on top of tuition and money the school generates from alot of things INCLUDING ATHLETICS. They have the money, they just don't spend it properly. Now, bc our football team gets a much needed uplift to its facilities, which some are used by all LSU athletes in many sports, and these sissys come out of the woodwork to bash it? TAF raised the money for this particular purpose, and people donated their hard earned money to get this done, so frick them and their complaints. Go raise your own money for a damn vacuum dude lol. You never hear any of this shite until TAF raises money to help the athletic department do stuff that must be done if we want to compete at the level we are at. It IS a necessity to do these tyes of things and keep up, or we will fall behind, and our teams will suffer and not be as good as they possibly can be....which not only hurts our teams, but the money that the school gets kicked back to them from the athletic dept. It's fricking stupid how these jealous mfers are.

Sorry Robert Mann you made a shitty career choice.
